I worked on Dream About Me from 2006-2013. It’s unlikely at this point that I’ll continue the story, but if you’re interested in how things would’ve turned out, read on.

First of all, DAM was based on a fanfic that I started writing in 2005. Each chapter of the comic is one chapter of the fanfic and the fic goes on a bit longer than the comic.

How would things have gone on? Gray and Popuri would have gotten together before too much longer and the story would have shifted focus to the other couples, Ann and Cliff and Harris and Maria were intended to get together, and I was leaning towards Karen/Kai and Jack/Elli. Harris and Maria would have had a subplot involving the shady salesman and Jack would’ve had a subplot about restoring the vineyard.

At the end of the year, Popuri’s parents would have returned, just in time for her wedding to Gray.

That said, if I do continue the story, there are some things I might do differently. It’s been nearly 15 years since I started working on it and some of my opinions and tastes have changed over the years.
